Where does all this yarn come from?

Within two days the weight of my stash has increased by 3,4 kilos. Outch.

Yesterday I received a huge sack of yarn from Secretwool. I’m about to start an interesting project, and I needed some yarn for it. Thought that I might as well buy some more yarn while I was at it, and so at the end of filling the shopping cart there was 18 skeins of yarn. Oops.

Cascade 220 Wool in grey and burgundy

One can never have too much grey. Or burgundy.

Cascade 220 Wool in purple and brown

But on the other hand, I love knitting colourful yarn.

Cascade 220 Wool is 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, and it knits like a dream.

Read in the paper that local shop was selling out Novita Saana for half a price. Saana is somewhat heavy yarn but 100% wool. Just recently I had pondered over buying some for caps for kids.

Well, I bought a bit more than just for caps…

Novita Saana in brown, pink and blue

I ended up buying 16 skeins altoghether. Brown and blue are for kids, and of the pink yarn I thought of knitting a sweater for myself. We’ll see how it goes.

Next question: where am I going to store all this yarn?
